Making Igloos

As part of out topic 'Going Global' we have looked at different houses around the world.

In Design Technology we made some Igloos.

A Nursery Christmas

Gracie Fields

Today we found out about a lady from Rochdale called Gracie Fields. During the war Gracie would sing songs to the soldiers.

People from Rochdale are very proud of Gracie because of what she did. There is a theatre named after her in the town and recently a statue of Gracie has been unveiled…

Remembrance Day

Today Unit One have been learning about why people wear poppies for Remembrance day. On the 11th November at 11am we will sit for 2 minutes in silence to remember the soldiers that have died and think about soldiers that may still be in conflict today.
